The
London Lishi Arts Summser School was a wonderful success. 3 Daoist
Masters including Laoba Desmond Murray (right), Abbot Zhao Daozhang
(left) and Dacan Chen (centre) provided some amazing insights into
their ancient heritage.
The
course was open to beginners who had never tried Lishi before and
was in fact full each of the four days. London Lishi Arts teaches
the Lishi method of 'Daoist Whole-Body Breathing' incorporating
Tai Chi (moving like water), Qi Gong (energy work) and Dao Yin (breath
work). The course was organised by Alex Boyd, the coordinator of

Just Ended: 'A Time for Tai Chi'
A
big thank you to everyone who joined us for these open Tai Chi sessions
that took place at Somerset House on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
throughout June. The sessions were led by Jonathan Orchard from
London Lishi Arts and the International Daoist Society. As part
of the build up to Big Dance 2008 some 30 - 40 people attended each
session. Sara-Ellen, the organiser of the events said the sessions
went "ridiculously well" which is great feedback.
Well done to Jonathan and all the volunteers who assisted.
